The Trieste Film Festival, Italy’s leading event dedicated to Central and Eastern European cinema will return from 16 to 24 January 2026 for its 37th edition.
As every year, the programme will feature international competitions for feature films, documentaries and short films from Central and Eastern Europe, alongside special events, retrospectives, out-of-competition screenings, meetings with filmmakers, masterclasses, book presentations, concerts, exhibitions and much more. Screenings will take place at the Politeama Rossetti, the Cinema Ambasciatori and the Teatro Miela.
Alpe Adria Cinema, the cultural association organising the festival, is offering the entire SISSA community a special discounted accreditation:
- €40 for requests submitted by 25 December 2025
- €55 for requests submitted after this date, still at a reduced rate
Accreditation grants access to all screenings at the Politeama Rossetti, Cinema Ambasciatori and Teatro Miela, and also includes the festival bag and official catalogue.
