Raffaella Rumiati nominata membro della delegazione Italiana del Bologna follow-up Group (BFUG)

The Bologna Follow-Up Group is the executive structure that supports and manages the Bologna process among the ministerial conferences that take place every 3 years and decide on the new steps to be taken.

Raffaella Rumiati, Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at SISSA has been appointed member of the Italian delegation of the Bologna follow-up Group (BFUG).

The Bologna Process is the important harmonisation process of the various European higher education systems that gave rise to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The Bologna Follow-Up Group is the executive structure that supports and manages the Bologna process between the ministerial conferences that take place every 3 years and decide on the new steps to be taken. 

The Italian delegation will also represent the Ministry of University and Research in the Bologna Follow-Up Group Work Plan for 2021-2024 and the Bologna Implementation Coordination Group (BICG) and will make proposals to the Ministry of University and Research for experts to be included in the different working groups if specific expertise is needed for participation in the work of the working groups.

In particular, Professor Rumiati will be part of the working group which will be responsible for promoting and disseminating the initiatives and best practices adopted by the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) in the national higher education community, in compliance with the commitments made by the European ministries as part of the BFUG.
