A new edition of the National Conference on Science Communication

From climate change to artificial intelligence, from policy to innovation, from public engagement to emergencies, but also participation, social impact, quality, new media and much more. These are some of the challenges that SISSA's forthcoming National Conference on Science Communication at SISSA to address with around forty appointments and 140 speakers.

Scheduled from Tuesday 28 November to Friday 1 December, the National Conference on Science Communication offers four days of discussion and exchange between scholars and professionals in the field at the national level. At the end of the conference, the 30th anniversary of SISSA's "Franco Prattico" Master’s course in Science Communication (MCS) will be celebrated with alumni and key figures of its history.

The 13th edition of the Conference is organised by SISSA's Interdisciplinary Laboratory and coorganised by the Municipality of Trieste with the support of SISSA Medialab, iNEST (Interconnected Nord-Est Innovation Ecosystem), Feltrinelli Education, with the collaboration of AICUN - Italian Association of University Communicators, SWIM - Science Writers in Italy and with the media partnership of Agenda17, Il Bo Live and Scienza in rete.
