Applications are now welcome for the National PhD in Artificial Intelligence - Health and Life Sciences area. The call closes on 23 July 2021.
This training course is one of the five PhD courses which are part of the Italian National Program PhD-AI.it aimed at building a community of young and diverse AI researchers and innovators, promoting the exchange of multi-disciplinary competences and strengthening the Italian network of AI research centres.
The training course dedicated to Health and Life Sciences covers the design, development and application of innovative methods, tools and systems that can be used both for basic biological and bio-engineering research, and for medical, applied and clinical research, in order to maximize the impact on human health and quality of life, even in older age.
SISSA is among the 61 universities and research institutions involved in the project and supports the initiative through the co-funding of 3 PhD fellowshipsfocused on the application of AI to neuroscience for health, to biological and chemical-physical systems for health and to the application of AI and Machine learning for health and life sciences.
