Marco Rucci has been appointed as the new SISSA General Secretary. Graduated in Law, he obtained a master's degree in University and Research Management at the School of Management for Universities and Research Institutions (SUM) of the Politecnico di Milano and a specialization in Public Administration Studies at the Spisa of the University of Bologna.
"I am very proud of this new position and I want to thank Director Stefano Ruffo and the School Bodies for this opportunity" he declared a few days after his appointment. "I humbly enter into a prestigious and international Institute. I would like to share my experience in the University world and my enthusiasm with SISSA community, supporting its members to better pursue the School's goals".
Following a professional career as administrative director of the Polytechnic of Bari and general director of the University of Bergamo, after a number of management positions at the University of Verona, Dr. Rucci will start his mandate at SISSA on 1 January 2021, succeeding Gabriele Rizzetto.
