SISSA back to the future: restano pochi giorni per contribuire!

Five forums to design together the SISSA of tomorrow

Dear all,

At this difficult time, we believe it is important that the SISSA community take back control over the future of the School, in line with the innovative vision and the values that have always distinguished it. In these months, we have tried to react to an unprecedented event, never before experienced at both a personal and community level; it is now time for us to rethink together how we want the future of SISSA to be.

This is why we have decided to launch the project “SISSA back to the future” and to involve the entire School, scientific and administrative staff and students in its development. Five different themed areas have been chosen, research, training, third mission, technical and administrative services, infrastructure. A working group, called “catalyzing group", has been set up for each theme, which will coordinate all the activities.

At this point, we would like to ask for your help and suggestions and invite as many of you as possible to participate in this process of renewal and revitalisation. We look forward to receiving ideas and thoughts on how to design the future of the School beyond this emergency period.

You can participate by using the platform on our website at this LINK

To write a post click on "new topic" in one of the 5 areas: research, training, third mission, technical and administrative services, infrastructure.

Your posts and interactions on the forum are growing and contribute to the discussions inside the catalyzing groups.   We don’t want to interrupt the productive exchange of opinion that is taking place inside the SISSA community: therefore, we have decided to postpone the closing of the forum to August 31st.

We look forward to your contribution, to build together the SISSA of tomorrow!
