Sissa expresses deep sorrow for the sad passing of former President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. Besides being a great figure in Italian and European political history, Giorgio Napolitano loved art and culture. Our community was able to appreciate the breadth of his interests when, on 13 July 2010, he inaugurated the new headquarters in via Bonomea, demonstrating a sensitivity towards science and Sissa for which all the scientific and technical-administrative staff continue to be deeply grateful.
