TRIESTE URBAN CENTER

SISSA is a partner in the new project Trieste Urban Center. The Urban Center is a think-tank that combines research, business and the city, and an area for developing innovative entrepreneurship in the BioHighTech, HighTech and health sectors.

The space, inaugurated in March 2021 in a refurbished area of the Old Port, will host initiatives for the public, workshops, networking opportunities and some special projects involving SISSA and other partners, including the PITTINI Foundation, Confindustria Trieste, Alto Adriatico, and ICGEB.

Managed by a group of companies led by Bio4Dreams S.p.A., an incubator in the life sciences sector, the Urban Center will also host the Fab-Lab, a functional space for exchange and headquarters for the start-ups that can benefit from specific support and contributions relative to developmental projects.  More info here
