Research interests

I received my Master degree with full marks (cum laude) in Chemistry in 2013 at the University of Calabria (Italy). I did my PhD in "Medicina Traslazionale" at the Department of Chemistry of the same University. Currently, I'm a postDoc researcher in the group of Alessandra Magistrato and my research activity is mainly focused on the study of the aromatase enzyme activation by phosphorylation and design of drugs that can inhibit and/or reduce the activity of this enzyme, by using different theoretical methods. The aromatase enzyme is responsible for the proliferation of breast cancer cells.
