The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, in collaboration with SISSA, Trieste and Udine universities, promotes the scientific system and the support for vocational education and training through the organisation of an event aimed at presenting the projects funded by the International Cooperation Programme FVG-MIT with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston.

The Program is a powerful funding instrument in research and aims at enhancing regional excellence by facilitating the exchange of know-how and the collaboration between research groups. It fosters internationalization initiatives focused on innovation and the enhancement of scientific cooperation. Within its first year, it has led to the development of eight projects that well show the dynamism and diversification of the activities of the regional universities.

The Program has given value to an international context and has raised awareness of the opportunities of such collaborations, also involving secondary schools in the projects / laboratories of the MIT Global Teaching Laboratories Program (GTL).

The event, which will be held in Italian, is open but registration is mandatory at http://eventi.regione.fvg.it/Eventi/iscrizione.asp?evento=13181
Registration deadline: 12.00 am, Tuesday 22 January 2019
