   Elena Giglia  

Elena has a PhD, Masters’ Degree in Librarianship and Masters’ Degree in Public Institutions Management, is Head of the Open Science Unit at the University of Turin.  She collaborates with the ICDI Competence Center on Open Science, EOSC and FAIR data and with the editorial board of open-science.it.

   Mariarita de Luca

Mariarita obtained her PhD in Applied Mathematics in 2009 at Politecnico di Milano. After many years of research in the application of mathematical models to complex physical systems, she has become very active in the dissemination of the principles of Open Science and FAIR data management. She is now working at Institute for Research and Innovative Technologies in AREA Science Park.

  Ruggero Lot

Ruggero is a creative and enthusiastic physicist with 4+ years of experience in research and 1+ years in management.  He manages a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster for researchers and companies.

    Niccolò Tosato

Niccolò obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is currently doing his PhD in Data Science and at the University of Trieste, where he discovered his passion for High-Performance Computing and parallel programming in science.

     Gianfranco Gallizia

Gianfranco started using computers at the age of 7 years old and never stopped. BSc in Computer Science at University of Trieste. Professionally he worked as a developer, sysadmin, IT consultant, and now DevOps.

     Jacopo Nespolo

Physicist by education, after a few years of fundamental research in condensed matter theory, he moved to the industry, working as a scientific software architect and developer.

     Matteo Poggi 

I'm a passionate problem solver who likes to apply his scientific knowledge to tackle complex situations.After my PhD in Theoretical Physics,  now I work as a software designer both for industry and scientific institutions.

     Marco Prenassi

Marco graduated from the University of Trieste with a master’s degree in clinical engineering and a doctorate degree in Neurosciences and Cognitive Sciences. He worked in the fields of medical informatics on multicentric research data platforms and personalized medicine, implantable devices for deep brain stimulation and smart-health applications.

   Federica Bazzocchi

Federica obtained a Master’s Degree in Physics at the University of Trieste and a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics at SISSA. She did a couple of postdocs working mainly on Flavor Models in Standard Model extensions, then switched to private companies as Data Analyst. Now she is involved in technical  Data Management  issues, with focus on Data Interoperability.

     Stefano Cozzini

Stefano is the Director of the Institute for Research and Innovative Technologies in AREA Science Park. He is the scientific coordinator of PRP@CERIC (life science) and the leader of the activities for the design and implementation of the Digital Infrastructure in NFFA-DI (materials science), the two projects supporting the MDMC.  He also was one of the founder of the Master in HPC

     Matteo Biagetti

Matteo  is a Researcher at the Institute of Research and Innovative Technologies  located at AREA Science Park in Trieste. In this role, he participates in the scientific operations of the Data Science research group, working at the intersection between artificial intelligence, physics, and mathematics.

     Tommaso Rodani

Tommaso is a Ph.D. student in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (ADSAI) at Area Science Park and the University of Trieste. He works on applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to analyze microscopy images at the Institute of Research and Innovative Technologies.
