From Monday, December 18th to Friday, December 22nd, at 9:45 AM, BBC 4 will dedicate five episodes to reading excerpts from the book by SISSA professor Roberto Trotta entitled "Starborn: How the Stars Made Us and Who We Would Be Without Them." In these five chapters, the narrative will unfold on how stargazing has shaped the course of human civilization. It will explore how, in a sky increasingly obscured by light pollution, our precious connection with the cosmos is at risk of being lost forever.
