Elena Barosso is the winner of the scholarship offered by the Pezcoller Foundation to the winner of the selection for admission to SISSA's 'Franco Prattico' Master's in Science Communication for the 2023-24 academic year. Barosso graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padua and then specialised in Bioengineering at the same university. Her technical education is intertwined with a strong passion for making connections between different disciplines, from science to literature, from music to art. Elena Barosso was recognised as the most outstanding candidate by the Examination Committee during the selection process for admission to the Master's programme. In recognition of her outstanding qualities, she was awarded a generous contribution from the Pezcoller Foundation. This financial support will enable Barosso to fully cover the enrolment fee for the Master's course.
