Research interests

Physicist; has developed research activity in Rome, CERN and Trieste in a variety of fields of High Energy Physics and –more recently- in some aspects of Cognitive Neuroscience.
Created and launched JHEP (the Journal of High Energy Physics) in 1997. Presently Chairman of Medialab SRL a SISSA spin-off that edits international peer-reviewed scientific e-journals [JHEP, JCAP (Cosmology and astroparticles), JSTAT (Statistical Physics), JINST (Instrumentation)], produces and diffuses a variety of initiatives for scientific communication.
