SISSA grants an allowance to new mothers (research fellows and PhD students) upon returning from the compulsory maternity leave (Social welfare benefits regulation, art. 5).
The monthly allowance is granted for a maximum of one year and until the child reaches the minimum age for being admitted to SISSA’s kindergarten “La SISSA dei Piccoli”. To apply please submit the attached form and a valid ISEE certification. The allowance is granted by Director’s decree and it is settled the month following the request, subject to the verification of the submitted ISEE certification.”
