access_time July 13, 2018

The group of Molecular and Statistical Biophysics (www.sissa.it/sbp) at the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (www.sissa.it) (SISSA) of Trieste, Italy, invites expressions of interest from qualified scholars in the field of Bioinformatics or Systems Biology (theory, computation, and method development), in view of the possible opening of a position at the Tenure Track or Associate Professor level in the group of Molecular and Statistical Biophysics.

The scholar will work as an independent principal investigator and bring complementary expertise to the Group which is currently focussed on physics-based modelling, method development and applications. The researcher, who is expected to attract external funds, will take active part to the SISSA PhD programme in Physics and Chemistry of Biological Systems and supervise students.

As a result of this enquiry, the Group will decide whether or not to fill a position, and on the contract to offer or procedure to activate.
