Research interests

I'm a second year PhD student. 

Previously, I obtained both my BSc and MSc in Physics at the University of Padova. In my Master's thesis I studied scaling relations between biological observables and body mass (e.g. Kleiber's law), and the role these relations play in the context of an ecological community. In particular, I focused on a diffusion-consumption model which aims to determine the scaling behavior of the metabolic rate of in vitro cell cultures from a theoretical perspective.
