Research interests

I took my bachelor in Physics and my master in Theoretical Physics at the University of Bari. During my thesis I worked on MD simulations of 2D active systems to investigate the emergence of phase transitions in non-equilibrium statistical mechanics. 

In my PhD I'm using both coarse-grained and atomistic molecular dynamics to study the properties of biological polymeric systems.

I'm currently working on the role of topological constraints in polymer physics and on nanopore translocation of structured RNAs.
