December 11, 2013 - 03:00 PM
Big Meeting Room, 7th floor
Classes are about to start at the new Master's in Complex Actions (MCA) of SISSA (enrolments are open until December 30) and, like every year, the time has come to present the diplomas to the students who have just completed their studies.
On the same occasion, the recipients of the awards offered by The HUB and Innovation Factory (two "special partners" of the MCA) will also be announced. The students responsible for the winning projects will be able to spend an "incubation" period of 6 or 18 months at the two centres.
Innovation Factory is a "first mile" incubator (that is, one that supports start-ups entering the market) of Area Science Park, whereas The HUB is a new space in Trieste where young people can develop their innovative ideas.
In addition, during the ceremony a scholarship will be awarded for the Executive MBA of the MIB School of Management. The scholarship is offered by InFin, a Trieste-based company active in the production of electrical motors, which has decided to invest in innovation and the training of young entrepreneurs. The MIB School of Management and InFin are also among the "special partners" of the MCA.
The winners of the awards and the scholarship are still top secret and their names will come as a surprise to the students as well.
Classes for the fourth edition of the MCA will be starting next January, and enrolments to take part in the selections will remain open until December 30. Enrolments are exclusively online and the form can be found here.
