A reward now or later? Exploring impulsivity in Parkinson's disease patients

It is not true that patients treated with deep brain stimulation (DBS) of the subthalamic nucleus make always more impulsive decisions than others, with major effects on their health and safety. This is what emerges from a study conducted by SISSA in association with the hospitals of Trieste and Udine, Italy.
