The evolution of the situation related to the spread of Coronavirus infection recommends, prudently and in agreement and synergy with the other Universities of the Region and the Political and Governmental Authorities, the adoption of precautionary measures aimed at protecting public health and the smooth functioning of the institutional activities of all the three Universities of Friuli Venezia Giulia, given the natural and significant mobility of students, especially those from Regions where cases of positivity to the virus have already been reported.
For this reason, from Monday 24 February 2020 to Sunday 1 March 2020, teaching activities (lectures, seminars and the like), profit exams, conferences or debates (internal or open) are suspended. The libraries will also be closed.The above activities, in the absence of different indications from the competent Authorities, will resume on Monday 2 March 2020. The activity of researchers and the one of the technical and administrative staff continues normally.
The new dates for lectures and exams will be communicated as soon as possible through the institutional communication channels. Universities are in continuous contact with the crisis unit of the Italian Government and with the relevant Ministries, and will update the measures currently adopted based on the evolution of the situation.
