On 17 November, the SISSA Opening Ceremony will celebrate the beginning of the Academic Year 2021-2022. The Lectio Magistralis, entitled "Data Fighting Pandemics", will be given by Computational Scientist Vittoria Colizza, Research Director at INSERM in Paris. A conversation with the Italian Minister of University and Research Maria Cristina Messa and the President of Istituto Superiore di Sanità Silvio Brusaferro moderated by the Corriere Innovazione journalist Massimo Sideri will follow.
The prolusion of the Opening Ceremony will be given by the new SISSA Director Andrea Romanino. The event will take place at SISSA Auditorium at the Miramare Campus starting from 11.00 am.
Please note that in order to attend in presence it is mandatory to register here by 15 November and show a valid Green Pass.
It is strongly recommended the arrival at the venue at least 30 minutes in advance.
