The Master in High Performance Computing (MHPC) is now accepting applications for its 6th Edition (2019-2020), that will start on 9 September 2019 in Trieste. MHPC is hosted and organized by SISSA and ICTP - The “Abdus Salam” International Center for Theoretical Physics, in collaboration with CNR/IOM (Istituto Officina dei Materiali of the Italian National Research Council). It is an innovative educational program, aiming at training scientists and professionals in the booming field of High Performing Computing. MHPC main goal is indeed to provide students with the appropriate tools to take the right decision for each computational problem. Students completing the Master's course have a solid background in scientific computing approaches, algorithms, and modelling. The program combines lectures with hands-on tutorials. Tutorial sessions are strongly application-oriented, and a final thesis defence completes the program.
