The fifth edition of School of Neuroethics, entitled “Emotions, language self-control. Neurosciences, cognitive sciences, ethics and clinic of dependencies ” will be held in Trieste from 16 to 18 of September. The focus of the school will be the examination of the ability of consciously modulating and controlling emotions, desires, brain activity and behavior, especially with respect to addiction. The event also aims at fostering the collaboration between research and clinic sectors and, thus, the development of innovative and effective support strategies.
The School is organized by the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of SISSA (ILAS), Azienda per l'Assistenza Sanitaria n. 2 "Bassa Friulana-Isontina" Osservatorio sulle tossicodipendenze della Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia and Dipartimento di Filosofia, Comunicazione e Spettacolo dell'Università di Roma Tre.
The lessons will take place at SISSA and the Circolo Marina Mercantile.
