4 SISSA PhD fellowships on innovation or green issues: deadline for applications 28 October 2021

For the Academic Year 2021/22, SISSA opens a new call for four PhD fellowships co-funded by the "Programma Operativo Nazionale ricerca e innovazione 2014-2020". The PhD fellowships, which focus on innovation or green issues, are:

PhD fellowship focusing on innovation issues: 

  1. “Big data analytics to innovate demoscopic polling and improve understanding of public perception”. The project is included in the SISSA PhD Course in Theoretical and Scientific Data.

PhD fellowship focusing on green issues: 

  1. “Development of advanced tools for mathematical and numerical modelling of multi-phase and multi-physical phenomena in order to improve sustainability and energy saving in refrigeration processes”.  The project is included in the SISSA PhD course in Mathematical Analysis, Modelling, and Applications 
  2. "Development of advanced tools for mathematical and numerical modelling of processes related to steel production". The project is included in the SISSA PhD course in Mathematical Analysis, Modelling, and Applications 
  3.  “Heading to Targeted Agriculture: Rational design of natural inhibitors targeting Nep1-like proteins to fight a variety of microbial patogens”. The project is included in the SISSA PhD course in Physics and Chemistry of Biological Systems.

The applications must be sent through the link https://pica.cineca.it/sissa/ by 28 October 2021 1pm Italian Time.

Each candidate can apply for no more than two projects.
