The Science in the City Festival is one of Europe’s largest science festivals. It is the bridge between all citizens and the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF), the important conference where researchers, entrepreneurs, stakeholders and public administrators come together to discuss the future of our society and of science.

The Science in the City Festival broadens this dialogue even further by including all the other components from the cultural world and from society: artists, poets, science communicators, teachers, children and all citizens.

From the 5th July to Autumn 2020, the Festival will offer 26 exhibitions and more than 180 events such as shows, workshops and science cafés, not only in Trieste but also in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and online.
