SISSA has signed a "Transformative Agreement" with IOP, active from 01.01.2023. This agreement allows Corresponding Authors affiliated with SISSA to publish their articles in IOP hybrid and gold journals with Gold Open Access, with no limit on the number of articles.
This is the latest in a series of agreements signed by SISSA with other major STEM journal publishers, providing access to online subscription-based journals and allowing authors affiliated with SISSA to publish open access in hybrid journals at no additional cost.
To take advantage of this opportunity, authors must indicate SISSA as their affiliation and use their institutional email address when submitting articles. If authors believe they are eligible but are not offered the option, they should contact library staff at journals@sissa.it or OApublications@sissa.it and their article may be retrospectively published open access.
Please note that the American Astronomical Society has not taken part in this agreement, so publication fees for Astrophysical Journal and other AAS publications are not covered by these agreements.
