15 FEBRUARY 2019 - SISSA, via Bonomea 265 - Trieste

MHPC has organized the event “HPC: challenge the present to innovate the future” in order to start an open dialogue with regional and national stakeholders to analyse new HPC trends and needs, with the aim to act synergistically to be the best actors in the field in Friuli Venezia Giulia (and beyond).
The first part of the event will be focused on MHPC itself: the graduation ceremony of our students, the presentation of the best thesis, and a short speech by one of our best alumni. Then, Dr. Sauro Succi, PhD – Senior Researcher at IIT, Visiting Professor at IACS, Harvard University, and one of MHPC lecturers – will hold a lectio magistralis.
The event will end with the HPC Round Table, a round table moderated by a scientific journalist with the main stakeholders (current and potential) of HPC and Big Data of the regional and national level who have some kind of connection with our Master.
