Vector Bundles on Algebraic Curves 2013

Evolution Problems for Material Defects: Dislocations, Plasticity, and Fracture

This is the first conference organized in the framework of my ERC Advanced Grant QuaDynEvoPro "Quasistatic and Dynamic Evolution Problems in Plasticity and Fracture" and second annual workshop of the PIRE (Partnerships for International Research and Education) project "Science at the triple point between mathematics, mechanics and materials science", which includes the Carnegie Mellon University, the California Institute of Technology, the New York University, and the University of Minnesota.

Mathematical Control in Trieste

MCT is a conference for researchers in Mathematical Control. It focuses on theoretical methods for control both of PDEs and ODEs, as well as some challenging applications. The first part of the conference (December 2nd - 4th) is centered on Control of PDEs. The second part of the conference (December 5th - 6th) focuses on Control of ODEs. During the whole week, a short course on Stochastic Control (10h) is scheduled.
