From Wednesday, April 29 until Friday, May 8 a collection box will be available in the cafeteria for donations. The funds will be donated to the Apeiron NGO (http://www.apeiron-aid.org), that has been active for many years in Nepal helping the most disadvantaged people and particularly women with children. Apeiron has already begun to intervene in rural areas far from the capital and hard to reach, in particular Dhading District, in Jharlang, Tipling and Sertung VDC, thanks to the network of collaborators working in different districts. The situation seems to be really terrible. People are digging among the ruins, and 90% of the houses are torn down. People have started to build temporary shelters with bamboos and other locally available materials, as tents are by now not available yet.
Until Thursday 30, more than 1200 euros have been collected.
