The fifth edition of the Middle East Mediterranean Summer Summit will take place in Lugano from 18 to 27 August 2022, with the support of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation. The MEM Summer Summit, composed of a Seminar and a Forum, aims at developing new approaches, different methods, as well as new projects to transcend physical and cultural boundaries between communities on all shores of the Middle East Mediterranean region.
The candidates should be from the Middle East Mediterranean region and Europe with a proven interest in the region and engagement in the society, between 25 and 35 years old, and from diverse educational backgrounds and work experience (business, media, human rights, non-governmental organisations, politics, technology, culture, art, entertainment, creative industries, social entrepreneurship, education, and research)
