Research interests

My research interest has been in understanding string theory and M-theory through the supersymmetric gauge theories realized as world volume theories of D-branes or membranes. One of my recent focus is to study low energy effective dynamics of M5-branes wrapped on a Riemann surface, especially in the context of the generalized AGT (Alday-Gaiotto-Tachikawa) relation, which predicts interesting relationship between four dimensional supersymmetric gauge theories and two dimensional conformal field theories.
