In line with the human and social values that have characterized SISSA from the very beginning, the School organizes a charity dinner for the SISSA people on Friday 25 May. The dinner is part of the celebrations of SISSA 40th Anniversary.
40 years ago, SISSA was founded thanks to the funds for the reconstruction given after the terrible 1976 earthquake. With this initiative, the School wants to make a contribution to support a community that is still living such a tragedy. A part of the proceeds will be donated to fund the AVUS Prize, which was created in 2014 in memory of the university students who died in L'Aquila's earthquake.
