Andrea Raspadori gained his Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Bologna in 2008 with a thesis entitled "Isolation of Rhodobacter Sphaeroides's Photosynthetic Reaction Center:
purification protocol optimization ". He got then his Master Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology in 2010, with a thesis entitled "Biochemical and structural studies of HypB from Helicobacter pylori: a metallo-chaperon of the [Ni-Fe] hydrogenase".

He's I year PhD student in the Prion Biology Lab at SISSA. His main research projects are 1) Analysis of the conformational space of murine prion protein by Atomic Force Microscopy 2) Biochemical and structural characterization of interactions between the murine prion protein and physiological interactors .
