| Selection Method | This selection is based on academic qualifications only. There is no need to take entrance exams in Trieste. |
| Positions Available | There is not a fixed number of positions available. Each selecting committee will decide according to the academic level of the candidates. |
| Other Fellowships | The School may offer, to a small number of candidates not directly admitted to the PhD courses, a fellowship, a living expenses contribution and a travel allowance in order to spend a period of internship at SISSA and participate in the Ph.D. entrance exams that will take place in Summer/Autumn. Info in the Announcement. |
| Deadline | Online procedure will be closed on 29th March, 2013. The application form sent by email, post or fax together with a copy of an ID document MUST reach SISSA by April 8 (see announcement) |
| Results | The outcome of the selections will be notified to all candidates by the end of May 2013. |
