     CONTROLLABILITY OF BILINEAR QUANTUM SYSTEMS 
 
Bilinear control systems
  1. accessibility and controllability properties;
  2. bilinear systems and matrix transition Lie groups;
  3. structure of matrix Lie groups (homogeneous spaces, transitivity, lifting of vector fields, linear and affine structure) 
  4. Lie algebras (semisimpicity, Cartan criteria, structure theory);
  5. examples: rigid bodies on SO(3) and SE(3); 
Application: quantum bilinear control systems
  1. finite dimensional Schrodinger equation;
  2. quantum Markovian master equation;
