Since year 2002-2003, SISSA has started a PhD
program in Applied
Mathematics, separated from the Functional Analysis curriculum and
focused on the following three topics:
- Mathematical Control Theory
Optimal Control
Control of hydrodynamical systems
Quantum Control
- Mechanics of Materials
- Multiscale Analysis
Admission
The standard channel for admission is through the
selection procedures
described in detail in the web page of the School or of the Functional Analysis Sector.
There you also find a comprehensive list of courses provided by the
Sector.
Our group is also involved in the EU-funded Multi-partner Marie Curie
Control Training Site.
Prospective graduate students interested in Systems and Control, from
all European Countries, are welcome to contact the organizers for
information.
