A new generation of leaders is needed: a strong focus on innovation and increased complexity in modern scientific, technological, and entrepreneurial work settings require revolutionary approaches and entirely new skills that are not currently available in traditional education.

MCA offers an innovative educational scheme, providing the key elements currently taught in common MBAs, as well as describing and exemplifying the broad range of thought patterns and methodologies that have been developed and used over the past decades in scientific research for tackling problem solving, complex decision making, and international competition.

MCA provides doctoral students, researchers and young professionals or entrepreneurs with the tools for developing independent and original thinking strategies, along with the fundamentals of scientific methods and the basics of economics, finance, and business management.

Next-generation leaders will be confronted with global-scale, highly complex challenges. At MCA, participants will work in groups to analyze and help developing innovative and realistic solutions to the most pressing of the global challenges: how to feed the Planet's ever-growing population.

The Master in Complex Actions is structured around three main areas:

  • Strategic thinking; Theory of creative thinking; Decision making processes in complex scenarios
