Cognitive Neuroscience aims at understanding the relationship between brain and behaviour, at all different levels. As with all other PhD programmes at SISSA, the curriculum in Cognitive Neuroscience, leading to the PhD in Neuroscience, is in English and caters to students from all over the world. The core component of the curriculum is the original research work by the student.
Courses offered in the Cognitive Neuroscience Sector
ECTS credits are indicated in black. Students should obtain 30 ECTS within their PhD.
See also the new course module on Approaches to Bio- and Neuro- Theory, intended to facilitate cross-disciplinary training and exchanges useful in understanding Biology and Neuroscience questions.
