Il 5 ottobre 2016 dalle 10.30, presso lo StarHotel Savoia Excelsior Palace in Trieste, si terrà la cerimonia di presentazione dei risultati del progetto UBE, Underwater Blue Efficiency, a cui ha partecipato SISSA con mathLab in cooperazione con MonteCarlo Yachts, Università di Udine, Cergol Engineering, DLM, Eidon Lab con Optimad, coordinato da MARE FVG e nell’ambito del programma PAR FSC della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Quantification of Uncertainty: Improving Efficiency and Technology - is focused on the review of recent algorithmic and mathematical advances and the development of new research directions for uncertainty quantification in the setting of partial differential equations with random inputs. As such, the workshop impacts the scientific, engineering,financial, economic, environmental,social, and commercial milieus.

MHPC Workshop on High Performance Computing

The Master in High Performance Computing (MHPC) program is organizing its first workshop to highlight the two foundation pillars of the program: training and science. 

The workshop, which will run from 24 to 26 February 2016, will be a unique and international event that will highlight state-of-the-art High Performance Computing applied to computational science and engineering.

The workshop will be held in Trieste (Italy) at SISSA, the International School for Advanced Studies, and it's a great opportunity for leading scientists, students and vendors.

Advances and Perspectives in the Calculus of Variations

A one day meeting gathering all former and present Ph.D. students of Gianni Dal Maso. The aim is to provide an opportunity for informal discussions on current problems in the Calculus of Variations and its Applications.

Sixth Itinerant Meeting in PDEs

This year the sixth edition of the Itinerant Meeting in PDEs takes place at SISSA in Trieste. The previous editions were celebrated in Bayonne (twice), Bilbao, Rome and Pisa. The aim of this series of meeting is to bring together experts in PDEs and to focus the attention to some recent developments in the field.
