Admission
Every year the APP group hires 5 students to attend the PhD programme. Students are selected according to an oral test. Application deadlines, dates and number of available positions for the academic year 2024/25 can be found at Call2024. Enrollment of new students at SISSA and the beginning of classes in the Astroparticle Physics Curriculum will take place in the first decade of October. The normal duration of the PhD programme is four years, with the possibility of completing in three years. The initial part of the PhD programme is based on course work which is considered to be an integral and necessary part of the research training (see the Teaching Activity programme of the current academic year).
