Laptops

If you are a new user then you will need to print out and fill in this new user account request form which must be signed by a staff member of the AP sector (Sam Leach, office 512) and taken to the SIS staff (Level 1, room 118), where a photocopy of your ID or passport will need to be made. Information about how to connect your laptop to our wireless network is found here. To use the wifi, you'll need to change your password every six months at this website: https://webmail.sissa.it/password

Access to computing resources

For information about using the supercomputers at CINECA, please contact Riccardo Valdarnini (office 505). For information about getting a new user account and about our local PC resources, contact Sam Leach (office 512). Day to day computing support is provided by SIS during the following hours.
