With this wokshop participants will learn the essentials of communicating complex science concepts through their writing. The course will be conducted by the renowned, award-winning journalist and former Guardian science editor Tim Radford. The workshop is designed for all those interested in becoming a science journalist at the international level. Workshop length is three hours. Maximum course size is 40.

Bruno Pontecorvo: un fisico straordinario e un personaggio stravagante la cui storia personale ripercorre da vicino quella altrettanto travagliata dell'Europa del secolo scorso, tra i drammi della Seconda guerra mondiale e il pantano della Guerra fredda. Nato in Italia, ha lavorato poi a lungo in Francia e infine in Russia, sua patria adottiva. Proprio l'esperienza italiana, fondamentale nel suo percorso di scienziato, è stato argomento di una conferenza pubblica venerdì 8 marzo alla SISSA di Trieste.
